Hi, I'm Josh!

​​​​​When I chose to become a Mechanical Engineer, I was driven by the idea of designing technology that would have a positive impact on society. As I finished school and entered the workforce, I quickly discovered the complexities of that goal, and began to feel that I wasn't going to achieve it- nor be my best self- through engineering tech alone.

 

In my search for new skills that would complement my talents, I rediscovered my passion for books and engaged in creative writing. Through personal reflections and studies on creative philosophies, I came to realize that the solution I was searching for was NOT in the mastery of a single discipline, but in the ability to coordinate various trades and knowledge to orchestrate solutions. In other words- I like to learn new things for the purpose of creating a better world.    
 

I developed this blog as a way of coordinating my different interests into something valuable. I believe the world grows through the creation of new ideas, and that the greatest ones are inspired by well-articulated thoughts.

 

As someone who has studied the discipline to design, and is driven by the capacity to create, my hope is to provide that little piece of insight that'll inspire ideas made to solve!
